TIAA Charitable Web Accessibilty
TIAA Charitable recognizes the importance of providing a website that is accessible to everyone, including clients with disabilities. To that end, we are working to satisfy generally-recognized guidelines for website accessibility as embodied in the Worldwide Web Consortium’s Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 Level AA.
This statement is meant to provide an overview of some of the accessibility concepts we have included to help clients with disabilities navigate and utilize the TIAA Charitable website. These features – which incorporate key concepts of web accessibility into our website design – are meant to help improve accessibility in a variety of contexts, including, but not limited to, navigation for screen readers, keyboard navigation, text-only browsers and use of multimedia content.
Our website uses Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) for layout and visual formatting; however, if your browser does not support CSS pages, CSS has been disabled or the CSS has been over-ridden by a user-defined style sheet, the website will remain readable.
